Ok , since my Suki image was very well favorited , I decided to make more Avatar images .
This is the first time I try katara , and she was not easy . specialy her face . I guess I worked on this image for 9 hours . 6 on the face , ha ha . Anyway , I tryed to capture the enviroment of her home land on the south pole . I am very sure that I will re-upload the image with more fixes . meanwhile enjoy the painting . All in photoshop CS2 , from sketch to final painting . Fix #1 I made her skin tone darker . Fix #2 I changed a little the shape of her head and face. and you can see my painting training on the icebergs here . [link] |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
