Tears in the Rain by 14-bis Tears in the Rain by 14-bis
And now for something REALY different.
Now that I am on a Movie fan art mood , I decided to push some of my limits , and try on human portrait .
and believe me , that was not easy .

If you dont know what movie moment I am illustrating here , you know nothing on Movie History.

A friend of mine just told me that the white pidgeon represent Roy soul been free from that body .

Amazing .

now the tech part ,
I did all in photoshop 4 , in 3 hours ,and I painted on this exact size.
And of course I did look to some ref picts of Rutger Hauer.

Tis another movie that I never saw, but I can definitely admit that the detail and power in this image makes me curious. I've got to see more of the classics, I do believe.

Thank you again for such an incredible share; keep up the fantastic presentation!

Well excuse me for not being able to watch classics since I'm poor and have no time because of my mean step-mom and developmentally challenged younger step-brother! Saying I don't know anything about Movie History. I only have two things to say to that: Tim Curry's role in Rocky Horror Picture Show was his weirdest EVER and Santa Fe Trail was probably Reagan's best movie.

Awesome work of one of most impressive movies I have seen.

In a personal mention, I know you can do this better, still quite amazing shows of details. :+fav:

One of the most interesting "bad guys" ever and even his death was fascinating as it wasn't the typical "bad guy ending". A beautiful movie and amazing scene that you have produced beautifully.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.

All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
Time to die."

Who says endings to films have to end with a bang!

*Ridley Scott proved in "Bladerunner" that a triumphant whisper such as the poignant death of Roy Batty is a testament to such a notion..........

& it's one of those scenes where I wish I could do this :cries: to proove myself human....... but what is being human :(

What does that say to you........

to me; you don't need all flashy kit to make a good film:

*Thought (An idea)
*Heart (Putting your ideas & the contributions of others into the feature)
*innovation & inspiration (not a lot of it about)

Wonderful art! This is one of most touching scenes in cinematography - most people feel that Blade Runner is a SF movie so they tend to dismiss it's message, but in truth, many things you can see in that movie are a fantastic commentary about human nature.

Bravo!

I watched Blade Runner on BluRay for the first time a few weeks ago and it was like a new movie. Like I'd never noticed how in this scene he has tattoos. Before I thought they were debris from all the climbing through rotten ceilings.

i already don't watch new films unless they are on tv so old films i would probably never watch
