Egyptian queen WIP

Here is the painting process of my homage to frazetta .
-I started on a rough sketch direct on photoshop .
always looking at the original .
-next I started the BG with the main color . I wonder if mr. frazetta started the same way .
-withe the lines and bg defined and started with the bright colors and shadows.
-I left the queen and the guard for the final stages , since they are more cartoon looking .
The final step was to miz everything together with some highlits and final color touches .
